Beauty students shine at Professional Beauty competition

Creative students from Trafford & Stockport College Group celebrated an incredible day of success at Professional Beauty North.

Together, they triumphed across a range of categories against strong competition from five other colleges across the North West.

The talented group secured an impressive set of results, showcasing their skills, creativity, and professionalism in front of industry judges.

The team’s collective achievements were topped off with Lina Cao being named Student Show Champion, a testament to her exceptional talent and commitment to her craft.

Lola Docherty, Director of Curriculum for Beauty, Wellness and Hospitality, praised the students for their outstanding teamwork and dedication: “I am so proud to work alongside such passionate, talented, and dedicated individuals. The competition not only highlighted the students’ technical ability but also celebrated their creativity, teamwork, and determination, all qualities that will stand them in excellent stead for their future careers in the beauty industry. Behind the scenes, tutors generously gave their time and energy outside of teaching hours, offering guidance and encouragement to help every student shine and foster success.

Professional Beauty North is one of the biggest events in the UK beauty calendar, attracting students, educators, and industry leaders to Manchester each year.
