Trafford & Stockport College Group has strengthened its commitment to high-quality apprenticeship provision by becoming a member of the national Association of Apprentices (AoA).
The AoA is a network dedicated to empowering apprentices across all industries. Membership gives apprentices access to mentoring, peer-to-peer support, professional development tools, and exclusive events.
Through this partnership, apprentices within the Group will benefit from enhanced career development, wider networking opportunities with peers and employers, and resources to support their journey both during and after their apprenticeship.
Danielle Houghton, Vice Principal for Apprenticeships and Adult Skills at Trafford & Stockport College Group, said: “Our apprentices are at the heart of everything we do. Joining the Association of Apprentices means they can now tap into a wealth of new opportunities to connect, learn and grow.
“Apprenticeships are about more than developing technical skills; they’re about building confidence, networks, and long-term careers. The AoA provides the perfect platform for our learners to achieve just that.”
This move highlights the Group’s ambition to remain at the forefront of apprenticeship provision in Greater Manchester and beyond, ensuring learners are equipped with the skills, networks and confidence they need to succeed in a fast-changing employment landscape.
