Trafford & Stockport College Group has been helping local employers take their first steps with artificial intelligence through two AI Basics Made Simple workshops this autumn.
Held at Trafford College and Stockport College, the sessions introduced over 45 business representatives, including teams from Age UK, Broadstones School and Chisrock Enterprise Ltd, to simple, practical ways AI can save time and spark new ideas.
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. One participant said: “It will give me back hours of my life.” Another described the sessions as “fun, informative and engaging,” adding that they now feel confident about trying AI in their workplace.
Georgie Mills, Business Innovation Advisor at the Group, said: “AI doesn’t have to be complicated. These sessions were about breaking it down and showing how local businesses can put it to work in ways that make a real difference. It’s exciting to see employers leave feeling inspired and ready to give it a go.”
